Winter Slug Runs 2018

Tuesday Training Runs in East Lyme – 6:00 PM, East Lyme High School Track SHARP!

Tuesday Training Runs in Mystic – 5:30 PM Harp & Hound. Standard run is 5.5 miles, but individuals can tailor the distance to their liking. Year round. Contact: Al Phillips (860-908-6882) or Todd Guertin (860 884-4534)
Walkers welcome as well.

Wed Group Runs from Norwich – Billy Wilson’s in Norwich on Wednesday nights with a 10k and a 5k at 6:00 PM. Walkers are also welcomed. This run is year round and we receive a free draft beer and dollar off any after. Contact: Al Phillips (860-908-6882)

Thursday Night Runs in Groton
Weekly Thursday evening group runs from Sneeker’s Cafe in Groton beginning at 5:30 pm. Distance/speed up to those who attend. Group usually goes out on parts of the old Sneeker’s Run course. Contact: Al Phillips (860-908-6882). Remember, Strider members get discounted goodies at Sneeker’s after the run.

Saturday Slug Run Series
9:00 AM – Various locations from January through April
Short and long courses each week. Slug Runs start in early January.

2017 Norwich Rec Runs 54th year (Summer series)

Ages: 6 years and older
When: Thursdays – July 6th through August 24th. All events are timed.
6:30 – 1-Mile Run (children under 6 yrs. must be accompanied by an adult)
6:45 – ½-Mile Run (children under 6 yrs. must be accompanied by an adult)
7:00 – 5K Run: a timed event (children under 12 yrs. must be accompanied by adult)
